About Us
Robin Cyr has been riding and working with horses for over 25 years. As a teenager, she was a catch rider – riding horses in shows for other owners – and then moved into professional hunter/jumper riding.
Robin’s reputation as a successful rider and trainer lead her to open her barn in 2006. She developed a children’s riding program, with a focus on positivity in the barn, safety for all, and teaching solid horsemanship skills.
Robin's working student program offers riders the opportunity to ride nice horses without the expense of ownership. Riding horses teaches children, young women especially, to learn leadership, have strong ethics, and have empathy for their teammates, both equine and human. The skills children learn in learning good horsemanship–clear communication, patience, and nurturing–will serve them for the rest of their lives.
