What We Offer
Cyr Point Stables is a full-service hunter/jumper barn providing a variety of services including the best in lessons and training for equestrians participating in competitive show jumping. We cater to all levels of experience and welcome riders who want to show or just ride for pleasure. Our professional and dedicated staff provide 24-hour onsite security and service.
Lesson Programs
Our lesson program focuses on safety, horsemanship, and fun. All riders take an introductory evaluation lesson allowing our staff to assess the rider’s skill level. From absolute beginners to junior riders to show riders who want to move up a level, our trainer, Robin Cyr can help riders reach their goals. See our Lesson Program flyer below. We have three programs, and offer individual lessons and group packages. We also welcome riders who just want to ride for pleasure rather than going to horse shows. Riding is a terrific way to clear your head, get outside and enjoy the day, and get a workout.
Horse Shows
We participate year round in top quality show jumping competitions -- locally in the Orlando, Florida area, state-wide in Florida, and nationally on the East Coast. We attend GOJA, CFHJA, Fox Lea Farms, World Equestrian Center- OCALA, WEF, and Pony Finals. We work seasonally to set goals and achieve desired results. Our horse shows services include a day lease of a selected pony, trailering to local schooling, help with grooming and show prep, and coaching during the show. We feel horse shows should be fun and educational, and we teach our students the etiquette and protocols for showing.
Training & Consignment
We offer a customized training and fitness program to fit the needs and goals of the horse and client. We specialize in young horses, problem ponies, and green horses moving up in divisions. Robin’s decades of experience in working with a variety of horses and disciplines gives her the background and expertise to work with your horse.
Boarding
We have seasonal and annual boarding packages available for your competition or pleasure horses. Custom packages are available to meet your horse's individual needs.
Board services include 12×12 stalls, feed, hay, shavings, night check, stall cleaning, basic blanketing if needed, daily turnout, wash racks, shared tack room, feed room/storage, jumps and arena use, fly spray system, stall fans, and trailer parking upon request. We feed only top quality grain and hay, and our paddocks allow for generous turnout that's important to a horse’s physical and mental health.
Breeding Program
Identifying an opportunity to breed and develop a quality line of hunter ponies and small junior hunter horses, Cyr Point Stable launched a breeding program with their own stallion Cyr Point Renoir by Red Wine. We use only top quality proven mares within the Hunter division.
"Wesley" is currently being shown in the Green Division. With breeding as the current priority he will be moving up to the Hunter Derbies next season. Several offspring are being developed with the same wonderful characteristics he has ~ a huge step, an amazing jump, hack winning gaits and extreme intelligence.
